The Planetary Drive Integrated Joint PJ3 family consists of compact integrated robotic joint modules for articulated motion systems and networked motion-control axes. All versions combine planetary reduction gearing with CAN / EtherCAT communication in a short 61.2 ±0.5 mm housing. Across the family, supply voltage is 24-48 VDC and protection is IP54, supporting compact installation in protected machine environments.
Within the range, gear ratios span 19.5 to 22. Rated torque covers 9.5 Nm, 14 Nm, and 44 Nm, while instantaneous maximum torque reaches 28.5 Nm, 42 Nm, and up to 140 Nm for short-duration peak loads. Rated speed ranges from 60 to 157.9 RPM, with maximum speed from 130 to 200 RPM. Depending on version, through-hole size is 4.5 mm or 7.5 mm, and weight ranges from 530 g to 1200 g.
