Integrated Servo Motors Modbus RTU are compact iSV2 series servo motors with the servo drive and 17-bit encoder integrated in one unit. This family is designed for drives and motion control via RS485 communication conforming to the Modbus RTU application layer protocol, with functionality configured by commands and variables. All listed versions also support Modbus RTU / Pulse+Direction communication.
The family covers frame sizes from 57 to 86 mm, with nominal power from 200 to 750 W, rated voltage options of 24 or 48 VDC, nominal torque from 0.64 to 2.39 Nm, and nominal speed of 3000 r/min. The integrated design saves mounting space, eliminates separate encoder and power cable connections, reduces interference, and helps reduce system cost. Depending on the version, motors are available with or without brake.

For RS485 network setup, the ELD2-RS model has a top-mounted termination resistor switch and baud rate selection of 9600 bps by default, plus 19200, 38400, and 57600 bps. For other RS485 drive models such as EM2RS, CS2RS, EL6-RS, and EL7-RS, a 120 Ω termination resistor is required at the beginning and end of the chain. Typical use is in compact multi-axis and general motion-control installations that benefit from serial networking and reduced cabling.
