Beschreibung

The DS38mm Series is a frameless BLDC motor family for compact direct-drive integration in embedded motion assemblies where low mass, space efficiency, and installation flexibility matter. All versions use a 38 mm stator outer diameter, 18 mm rotor inner diameter, 48 VDC supply, 12-slot / 7-pole-pair design, star connection, 120° commutation, insulation class F, and S2 duty. The family has no integrated feedback, making it suitable for systems built around external control architecture.

This series combines high rotational speed with compact frameless construction. Across the provided variants, rated output ranges from 110 W to 245 W, rated torque from 0.1 to 0.23 N·m, and rated speed from 10,190 to 10,470 RPM, with no-load speed up to 13,000 RPM. Peak torque reaches 0.32 to 0.76 N·m, supported by torque constants of 0.035 to 0.039 Nm/A and back-EMF constants of 2.6 to 2.88 Vrms/Krpm. Electrical values include phase-to-phase resistance from 0.14 to 0.8 Ω and inductance from 0.185 to 0.9 mH.

  • Frameless 38 mm format supports direct embedding into custom drive assemblies.
  • High-speed operation up to 13,000 RPM suits compact, fast-response motion systems.
  • Useful continuous and peak torque capability supports both steady running and short-term load demands.
  • Low moving mass, with stator weights from 50 to 87 g and rotor weights from 10 to 20 g, helps reduce system inertia.
  • No integrated feedback suits applications using external sensors and controller-based commutation.

Typical use is in compact direct-drive systems that require a frameless motor to be built into the machine structure rather than mounted as a complete housed unit. The combination of small diameter, low rotor inertia of 10 to 20 g·cm², and external-feedback compatibility makes the DS38mm Series appropriate for embedded high-speed motion assemblies where packaging flexibility and low mass are important.
