The BLDC – Size 28mm family is a compact 24 V brushless DC motor series for high-speed, feedback-controlled drives in a small installation space. The listed version 28ZWC58L-1 has a 28 mm outer diameter, 57.5 mm motor length and 300 g weight. It uses Hall sensors for feedback, a 120° commutation angle, 2 pole pairs and a star winding connection.
Key performance data combines high speed with compact output: 52.4 W nominal power, 0.05 Nm nominal torque at 10,000 rpm, and 12,000 rpm no-load speed. The motor draws 3 A nominal current and 0.5 A at no load, with 77% motor efficiency. For dynamic load peaks, it reaches 0.15 Nm peak torque at 9 A peak current. Additional electrical data includes 0.676 Ω phase resistance, 0.2 mH phase inductance, 0.017 N·m/A torque constant, 1.78 V/Krpm back-EMF constant and 0.011 kg·cm² rotor inertia.
This motor family is suited to compact machines and motion systems that need fast rotation, precise electronic commutation and low operating noise below 50 dB at 1 m test distance. It is specified with insulation class B, S2 duty, 500 VAC withstand voltage, 100 MΩ insulation resistance at 500 VDC, 0.38 K/W thermal resistance from housing to ambient, 25 °C ambient temperature and 75 °C maximum winding temperature.
