Description

The BLDC – Size 16mm family includes the 16ZWC32L-1, a compact 24 V brushless DC motor with a 16 mm outer diameter and 32 mm motor length. It uses a core winding, an optimized magnetic circuit, and a multi-pole rotor to deliver high torque density and dynamic running in a very small package. The motor is equipped with Hall sensors and a 120° commutation angle, making it suitable for controlled brushless drive systems where compact size and stable feedback are required.

Key performance data combines high speed with useful output for miniature drive tasks: nominal power 9.2 W, nominal torque 0.007 Nm, nominal speed 12,600 rpm, and no-load speed up to 16,300 rpm. At rated operation, nominal current is 0.65 A, while peak torque reaches 0.021 Nm at 1.95 A peak current. Additional technical features include 71.6% motor efficiency, phase resistance of 6.5 Ω, torque constant of 0.011 N·m/A, back-EMF constant of 1.05 V/Krpm, and noise below 50 dB under the stated test conditions.

  • Very compact 16 mm diameter, 32 mm length, and 25.5 g weight for space-limited installations
  • High rotational capability with 12,600 rpm nominal speed and 16,300 rpm no-load speed
  • High torque density from the optimized magnetic circuit, core winding, and multi-pole rotor
  • Hall sensor feedback, deep groove ball bearings, and an aluminium die-cast end cover for controlled, durable operation
  • Suitable for compact high-speed drive applications that require low noise, brushless operation, and strong dynamic performance

Construction details include a carbon steel shaft, sintered NdFeB magnet, insulation class B, duty type S2, insulation resistance of 100 MΩ/500 VDC, and insulation strength of 500 VAC/1 KHz/1 mA/1 s. The motor has a mounting hole dimension of 10.6 ±0.15 mm, shaft length of 9 ±0.5 mm, thermal resistance housing-to-ambient of 0.9 K/W, and a motor thermal time constant of 1.26 min. These characteristics support use in compact equipment where low mass, precise integration dimensions, and fast dynamic response are important.
