Description
The BLDC Size 36 mm family is represented here by the 36ZWC72L-1, a compact brushless DC motor for high-speed 48 V operation. It delivers 130.9 W nominal power, 0.125 Nm nominal torque, and 10,000 rpm nominal speed, with 12,000 rpm no-load speed. The motor uses Hall sensors for feedback and a 120° commutation angle, supporting controlled electronic commutation in compact drive systems.
Key technical strengths are the combination of compact dimensions and high rotational performance: 36 mm outer diameter, 71.5 mm motor length, and 600 g weight. The motor is built with 2 pole pairs and a star winding connection, with 0.67 Ω phase resistance and 0.37 mH phase inductance. At nominal load it draws 3.6 A and reaches 80% efficiency; peak values are 0.375 Nm torque and 10.8 A current. Additional performance data includes a torque constant of 0.035 N·m/A, back-EMF constant of 3.67 V/Krpm, rotor inertia of 0.037 kg·cm², and noise below 50 dB at 1 m under the stated test conditions.
- 48 V BLDC motor with 130.9 W nominal output
- High-speed operation: 10,000 rpm nominal, 12,000 rpm no-load
- Compact 36 mm diameter format with 71.5 mm motor length
- Hall sensor feedback with 120° commutation
- Insulation class B, 100 MΩ insulation resistance, 500 VAC withstand voltage
Typical use cases are compact machines and equipment that need a small-diameter motor with high speed, moderate continuous torque, and sensor-based commutation. The S2 duty type, thermal resistance of 0.24 K/W from housing to ambient, 25 °C ambient reference, and 75 °C maximum winding temperature define the stated operating framework for intermittent-duty applications.
