Description

BLDC – Size 12mm covers the 12ZWC30L-1, a compact brushless DC motor with core winding, 12 mm outer diameter and 30 mm motor length. The optimized magnetic circuit, high torque density and multipole rotor support strong, dynamic performance in a very small package. At 24 V rated voltage, the motor delivers 1.6 W nominal power, 1 mN·m nominal torque and 7700 RPM nominal speed, with no-load speed up to 11000 RPM.

This motor combines small size with stable electrical and mechanical performance. It uses a 2 pole-pair design, star winding connection and 120° commutation angle. Key values include 52.5 Ω phase resistance, 3.92 mH phase inductance, 0.11 A nominal current and 0.33 A peak current. Peak torque reaches 3 mN·m, motor efficiency is 60%, and rotor inertia is 0.18 g·cm² for responsive running. The unit weighs 18 g and operates with insulation class B, duty type S2, insulation strength of 500 VAC / 1 kHz / 1 mA / 1 s, and insulation resistance of 100 MOhm at 20°C.

  • Very compact 12 x 30 mm format for space-limited designs
  • High torque density with optimized magnetic circuit and core winding
  • Dynamic speed capability: 7700 RPM nominal, 11000 RPM no-load
  • Low operating noise below 50 dB at 1 m test distance
  • Suitable for compact drive tasks requiring low weight, fast response and controlled BLDC operation
